The Hill College Dual Credit department has set a busy spring schedule to make sure all eligible dual credit students in the College’s service area are enrolled in classes for the fall semester.
Director of Dual Credit Regina Paneitz, academic advisors, the College recruiter, and staff from the Student Information Services department, make up a team that is going to area schools to help students apply and register in Hill College courses, as well as award them with Moving Forward. The Moving Forward initiative recognizes students for achieving the benchmarks of 15 credit hours, 30 and 45. As students reach these credit hour milestones, they are rewarded with Moving Forward swag such as a 15 Forward t-shirt, and other branded Moving Forward items.

Dual credit is a process by which a high school student registers in a college course and receives simultaneous academic credit for the course from both the college and the high school. While dual credit courses are often taught on the secondary school campus to high school students only, a high school student can also take a course on the college campus or online and receive both high school and college credit.
